What are the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)?

The SGDs, or Sustainable Development Goals, were set up in 2015 by the United Nations General Assembly with the mission to create a blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all people and the world by 2030. Comprised of 17 distinct goals, the SDGs encourage widespread positive impact on issues from poverty to gender equality to affordable clean energy. Hear more about the SDGs and why they are important for businesses from Schneider Electric Senior Sustainability Consultant, Louis Christopher.
