Many companies are now being priced out of the carbon offset market, meaning it is becoming more expensive to reach your carbon neutrality claims as carbon offsets are now more expensive than what organizations may have originally budgeted for. Companies are now faced with difficult decisions between financial risk tolerance and their moral obligations: do they discontinue offsetting programs and forego our carbon neutrality claim, or do they increase strained budgets to maintain their carbon neutral status?
